I tend to disregard light cavalry unless I’m running out of gold or I’m having a problem with enemy monks. They die with ease, and can be defeated with cheap pikemen infantry.
Sometimes. I watch Spirit of the Law more than any of those.
Since I was 6, which was 14 years ago.
I am. Besides, I don’t have steam and my version isn’t a legit one.
Sorta. Was trying to put a forward castle and sent all 22 knights to the rush, but the group of villagers were intercepted and didn’t make it, and without backup, most of my knights died to pikemen and the town center. I should have attacked much earlier, when I had the age advantage and 8 knights, but I wanted a forward castle
I did get it up later, though.
Yellow was a problem because they had many monks, crossbowmen and pikemen, so I had to wait until late Imperial, when I researched conversion resistance and fielded Elite Conquistadors, Hussars, Heavy Cavalry Archers, and Paladins. Green was obliterated by the forward castle, which had the town center within range, and Yellow’s troops were busy with Red (ally), so I changed my turtling strategy to booming and built a very strong army relatively quick.
I love turtling.
