Are the 'Anti-Fascists' in the U.S. actually the fascists?

#1

This is mainly about the Berkeley riots against Milo Yiannopolous.

Also, a quote from Winston Churchill:
“The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists”

#2

Yes, it’s the tip of the horseshoe.

#3

There’s no evidence that Churchill ever said that quote (and I’d be willing to wager it’s fake) and thinking that antifa are fascists is moronic. It shows you know even less about Fascism than they do.

#4

I just asked a question and put up a quote which is supposedly attributed to the dude who helped take down fascists.

Why the fuck are you being so confrontational?

#5

lol no.

#6

Because I’m allergic to stupidity, particularly when it comes to political science.

#7

A lot of them are idiots but they ar not fascists. Fascism is a set of political beliefs, not a behaviour

#8

They use the same reasoning as historical facists to justify their violence, ie political violence is an acceptable method of political discourse, but they are commies.

#9

Ironically authoritarian, but not fascist.

#11

jeeze man, go have a drink

#12

Chill

#13

No politician in the US is a fascist and it’s just become a buzzword to describe people you don’t like.

#14

I’m not really talking about politicians

#15

Most people labeled fascists are not fascists.

#16

Except for people I don’t like.

#17

what a fascist thing to say

#18

They’re using the same reasoning as any other violent political group in history.

#19

aw man that’s such a good place for a domestic pearl harbour, all idiots gathered in same location.

#20

No, just authoritarian and extremist.
