At wits end

Could somebody please please please tell me why my printer won’t print?

I need to print an outline of Chile really big to trace for my Spanish speech. I found a good image, split it into thirds to make it larger. I got the bottom two portions to print out, but the top won’t! It’ll print about an inch or so of image and then just quit and spit it out.

I’m very frustrated right now. :frowning:

That country is much too long to print :stuck_out_tongue:

Or maybe the mountains are getting stuck in your printer.

Erm . . . . might be a bad read of the image from your PC - try a different image

But the other two worked. They all came from the same image. I just wanna throw my printer out the window. I’ve tried letting it just sit and rest and then printer, but it still sucks. :frowning:

eh

I’m giving up tonight. I spent 6 hours in the car today. I’m exhausted.

It’s not due tomorrow, I still have a week. I’m just frustrated. Maybe I should hold the computer screen up to the scanner screen and make a copy of it, haha

You mean the other two parts of that image? Or two other images?

Wish I could help but PCs confuse me. I am a Mac girl.

And if you had a report on Chile you should have told me, I could have gotten Jay to help you.

Really? Bummer I didn’t say anything! I have to give a 5 minute speech, in Spanish, Monday next week. I’ve hardly even started. I’m just not feeling it!

Yeah- I split the image into 3 parts. I got two to print out. Couldn’t get the last one. John got it. Don’t ask me how.

Jay could have definitely helped you. Oh well, next time.

No more next times! This is my final semester of Spanish and I’m excited! lol

I really am excited about this project, though. My mom’s birth mother was Chilean and I’ve never taken the time to do any research, so it’s kinda like learning about me a little bit too.

Well that is always good. I remember all of my classes that discussed Greece and how much I “learned” about my culture too.

I would have never guessed Greece, but now that I think about it… large family, Alexandria (could’ve been Dimitri)… yeah, I believe it

50% Greek. Then German and Italian and a smattering of other stuff I am sure.

I have done a lot of genealogy for my dad’s side, back to the early 1500s on one branch - a lot of German, a good amount of English, the odd Frenchmen or two, and one branch from the Netherlands.

I’m still not sure who my mom’s mom is, but since she’s never known any different than my Nanny, I researched through that. My mom doesn’t really seem interested, but my grandmother loves it!

I haven’t done any genealogy before I just go off of what I am told by my Parents and since my Dad’s parents came right from Greece, I know that one. My Mom is a little more diluted.

So… when you get married, how traditional is it going to be?

OMG.

You get the idea… Mine will be just as glamorous. My Dad is still upset that his second oldest daughter got married first. And my Mom is upset that she only has 1 grandchild. So I need to get busy. LOL

haha. I’m going with you will have a dream wedding!

I take she’s really tall since she wore flats?

I absolutely do. My parents pressure is nothing compared to my own. I want a good husband and a big family because it is what I have always wanted. I have 5 siblings and I had to care for most of them and I love motherly work.
