Nation name: Republic of India
National ideology: Secularism, social democracy, social liberalism, Indian nationalism
Head of State: President Ali Jinnah
Head of Government: Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru
Map Claims: India and Pakistan
National background: The British Raj was exploited during the World War, and an independence movement grew rapidly, led by Mahatma Gandhi and Ali Jinnah (before he was pro independent Pakistan). The movement grew too big for Great Britain (I hope I can make claims about @John’s country like this) to care to handle, and the Republic of India was officially signed into existence. Jinnah and one of Ghandhi’s greatest political allies, Jawaharlal Nehru, were placed in power with the goals of unifying the country by developing the country and bridging the religious gaps, mainly between Islam and Hinduism.
