Nice pics Ian…

As for the pooh… it happens

Wow -just awesome detail. Any closer and you’d have to switch to a microscope

any closer and he’d have attacked me cos he was guarding his mate on the nest:24:

:eek . . . :24:

You should publish a book: The Dangerous Adventures of skyblue - Wildlife Photographer

I think I can make out your reflection in the eye of that first pic

Have you ever been attacked by any of your subjects?

yea…i’ve tried to get close ups of mosquito’s with no luck…they got dinner though:willy_nilly:

 - well at least it wasn’t something with horns or teeth.

How far away were you in that first pic?

5 or 6 feet perhaps

Well, I was joking at first when I said I could see your reflection in the eye of the first shot. But if you zoom in close enough, you can see a vertical shape just below the sun spot on the upper right part of the eye. Pretty awesome detail if that is in fact your image.

and yes, I do have too much time on my hands

I’m green with envy! Ooooh to be able to take photo’s like these!

Fantastic pics Ian!
