This is interesting. Lib Dems have more in common with Labour than Tories
If you look at just those policies, yeah. There’s more shit in the manifesto that overlaps, but generally I would say that the LibDems are closer to Labour this time around.
some of her policies are magic fairy land Such as deficit removal (don’t believe 2025 because by the way its going ill be dead before the tories remove deficit)… she is removed dinner meals for breakfast (not because its better but because it will be a savings) one hot meal a day is better than a small bowl of cereal in the morning. That’s fairy land john. Now yes there are a few non fairy land policies such as more NHS funding and double lock… but some of her promises either are not possible or just wont work (such as immigration targets which she has never done :D)
why the fuck should the taxpayer fund a free lunch for parents that can well afford it? makes sense to me
it’s all classes that get the free lunch , and that’s one of the reasons people work, you know to pay for their own or kids’ food
@I_am_the_Senate Thoughts on the Manifesto?
Pretty much what I expect from conservatives. Not being from the UK, I was surprised to see that the rhetoric actually seems pretty tame compared to U.S. conservatives.
compared to a lot of countries both of out main political parties are not really that extreme compared to other countries left and right wing parties.
