What are your thoughts on Corbyn's proposed policy of spending £500bn on infrastructure investment over the next ten years (£50bn per year?
He distanced himself from his original PQE proposal from 2015, but he still plans to allocate said investment through both a national investment bank and a network of regional development banks. Funding is said to come from a variety of different (and some charge as vague) methods, ranging from tax rises to borrowing from private capital markets.
Remember that this would also be co-ordinated alongside other increased spending proposals, such as on the NHS, education, schools, etc. Though they have their own proposed funding mechanisms I believe.
