Liberals "protect" Muslims too much. There's nothing wrong with allowing Muslims to feel some 'extra responsibility' for actions done as a result of Muslim.
Maher used his perspective as an Irish immigrant (or at least the son of Irish immigrants) to come to the conclusion that most Muslims understand why they are scrutinized, and own up to the fact that there is Islamic terrorism which should be monitored. He states that these Muslims' voices are "drowned out by liberals screaming 'Islamaphobe.'
