Religion

Understandable. People don’t often think of Nationalists as very accepting men, however American Nationalism is much different.

And I pray to God that American Nationalists remember that.

Both Christianity and Islam, slave holding ideologies, have basically developed into intolerant, homophobic and misogynous religions. Both religions have grown themselves by the sword instead of good deeds and continue with their immoral ways in spite of secular law showing them the moral ways.

Jesus said we would know his people by their works and deeds. That means Jesus would not recognize Christians and Muslims as his people, and neither do I. Jesus would call Christianity and Islam abominations.

Gnostic Christians did in the past, and I am proudly continuing that tradition and honest irrefutable evaluation based on morality.

Humanity centered religions, good? Yes.

Supernaturally based religions, evil? Yes.

Do you agree?

All that aside, can you tell me why you chose to return to Catholicism, given that Yahweh is a genocidal son murderer and is quite the vile and immoral God?

Raised Baptist, currently identify as interdenominational Christian, moving closer to Catholicism.

I’m not a fan of strands of Christianity that are hypocritical or unaccepting of people.

I have always believed, though I have experienced moments of great doubt, as most do. I am not convinced by other religions, and have found atheism wanting. Agnosticism is probably a more honest approach, but then, no one likes a fence sitter. Recent changes to the way I think about various social issues and people groups has led me to adopt a far more accepting (and I believe, loving) approach. this approach has put me at odds with many traditional evangelical ways of thinking.

I’d love to chat further on the issue, as one who is becoming more sympathetic towards Catholicism.
