Corrupt social democrat politicians? Check
Corrupt conservative politicians? Check
Contaminating enterprises? Check
Agricultural monopolies? Check
Denying rights to native americans? Check
Destruction of local industry thanks to liberalization? Check
Multinationals more interested in exploiting all they can while investing little in the country? Check
Governments that cause roughly one crisis every decade? Check
Incompetent labor unions? Check. At least we have plenty of them, unlike the US.
Politicians wanting to distract the public with useless stuff? One "Check" isn't enough.
Overall stupidity? Oh boy, the amounts of "Check"s we need
A disappearing middle class? Check
Raging youth unemployment? Check
And this is one of Latin America's richest countries. Yet we are here, like sitting ducks.
