Tired of all the Politics

I’m so sick to death of hearing about the Left doing this and the Right being responsible for that. Why can’t the country just wake the fuck up and work together? Why must you align yourself with the Democrats or the Republicans to become a political leader in this country? The problem with aligning yourself with a party, is that you have now become one of the pack, supporting everything that they want you to support. What if your beliefs stretch across both parties? If all the energy that is used to attach each other was put to productive use, most of our nations problems would have viable solutions.

This mostly stems from hearing Rush and Hannity screaming out that Democrats don’t support our troops. This is total bullshit! How fucking irresponsible is that to say such things. These people are looked up to by their mass following. I don’t think you could find a single red blooded american that say that they are against our troops. Our policy? Yes. But not the troops. When Senatore Murtha was urging us to pull out of Iraq, he stated that it would take at least 6 months to do it safely, he made it clear that he was concerned about our troops safety and wanted it done right. He wanted them out to prevent the additional loss of life. Then Rush has the balls to turn it around and say that he is against the troops.

And these guys need to stop wineing about the removal of Christmas trees in public schools. Get over it, and stop being fucking hipocrits.

You’re always so good at puting your point across Tim. I agree with you about half of the time, but I enjoy reading your posts about 99% of the time.

I listen to a lot of Liberal Talk radio, and watch Colmes on TV. The hate spewing (In my opinon) is worse on the ‘left’ than it is on the right.

The talk about ‘supporting the troops’ is a little mis-understood I think. The convervatives and liberals I know all view our troops as the good guys. I don’t think that’s in question.

Talking about pulling our troops out now is my idea of irresponsibility. Talk about motivating the enemy to hold on!! I say we finish the job, and come home as champions. If you look at the score board, we’re kicking their asses. Why let them go now that we’re winning by so much? :dunno

I think my problem with the war in Iraq is that we went in there to remove Sadams ability to be a threat in the world via WMDs. Well he has been removed with no chance of regaining power, his regime is dissolved and the country is working towards unifying. We can’t stay there until the country is “stable” because it will be decades until that is accomplished.

The President says we are at war with terrorist, yet the terrorist are like the rats in NYC. They are there, they are a problem but you can’t declare war on New York to take care of the problem. No matter what you do or how many rats you kill, you will never get them all. So my question to you is this… How do we declare war on terrorists? Even if we were to kill every man woman and child in Iraq and took the country for ourselves, we would still have terrorists pouring in from Iran, Syria, Turkey, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. It’s a never ending and unwinable war. Our time would be better spent protecting and fortifing our boarders and removing the already present internal national threats. Hell it’s been over 4 years since 9/11 and we still have thousands of illegals pouring into our country on a weekly basis.

tim, the point is:

during wartime activities, the united states citizens have limited speech.

thats why it is the war on terror. terror will never end, and so, we will never have our previous rights anymore. its an effort to control us, but subtle so that the general public wont care.

basically, we screwed ourselves over

What do you mean when you say “during wartime activities, the united states citizens have limited speech.”?

And who is it that is trying to control us, our government?

i dont remember what incident it was, but you could have been jailed for speaking out against our government during that incident. that incident was war-related, might have been a war. i just dont remember it. and i wasnt around either.

um, yeah :tard @ the control question

my favorite political statement ( by me ) :

democratic republics are sugar coated socialistic governments

So what you are trying to say is… The US government declared a war on terror to keep us (the US population) under control. And since there will never be a victory or logical end to the war on terror, they will have indefinate control over us???

Interesting…

politics suck. bunch of crackers with small penises and nice suits who think theyre #2 just yell around north america. i never vote (well except the last election but my friends made me) because I do not like any candidates. I don’t like it when people dress all tidy and have short hair that doesn’t move. I also hate when people have no tan. I also hate when people don’t work out. So at the end you have this albino fat/smartass who just talks constantly. And that man/woman is leading our towns? c’mon, they all deserve to be sent away to easter europe. forever. what we need is some big guy who played basketball. that’s right i said it. basketball. football people are dumbasses. just look at me. thats right i said it. i can work hard (GPA 3.5, proves that you dont need to be smart to get good grades) I will go to college but i’ll never be smart. It’s in my blood. my mother was blonde. but my dad was an engineer. so that kinda evens it up.

#13

so your saying we should have a country run by not smart people?

and all they would do is make games and such national events, require everyone to watch, etc.

doesnt sound much of a government to me :wtf

#14

well me neither. remember Bush had a C average. I have a B+ average. I could be a president like 1.5, bitch :fu .

#15

you’d be a 1.5 bitch?

i dont get it :tard :dunno
