Trouble in Paradise - Natalee Holloway

#1

I’m sure you all have heard about Natalee Holloway. Such a sad story. I know when my children are graduating I’d love for them to take a senior trip. But now I’ve got to rethink my choices.

What do you guys think about her disappearance? Of course the media tried to put the blame on her. Yes, it was obviously a bad mistake to get into the car with those boys, but she certainly did not deserve this fate. She was in paradise and met a guy, and wanted to have a little fun before she started the rest of her life. I cant say I wouldn’t have gone with this boy that I’ve been partying with all week. Heck, he was the judge’s son…he’s safe…right???

There are many theories that I have. First one is that the other 2 boys tried to jump into the action and she fought, and they accidentally killed her.

Next is that they gave her that date rape drug, but gave her too much and she died.

Third is that she is still alive and was sold. I know…it seems like I’m reaching for a very long straw. But read the following article. Do you all remember the girl about 7 years ago that disappeared off a cruise ship? Her name was Amy Bradley. She was on a cruise with her parents. I think she was in her early 20’s. The night before she became missing, she was at the same club that Natalee was last seen. There were people that sighted her on the beach. A couple of years after her disappearance a naval officer was at a brothel (ask your mama) on the Curacao Island (right next to Aruba). The girl he got was this Amy. She tried to get him to help her. He was not allowed to be there and never said anything until much time later when he read about who she really was. He didn’t realize she was actually in danger and “missing” when she told him she was from the states and what her name was. Once returning to the states and finding out who she was, it was too late. He did tell, and they went to the brothel, but it had long been gone.

So what do you think??

Cold blooded murder??

Rape turned accidental death??

Accidental overdose??

Slavery cover-up?? (You know the main boy’s dad is high in their judicial system.)

Wow, no one has anything to say about Natalee??

#3

I think they all raped her and got carried away and accidentally killed her.
As far as when my kids graduate high school, I dont think I will be letting them leave the country to go on a school trip. I know that sounds mean, but I just couldnt handle going thru what these parents are going thru not knowing where their daughter is. If the poor girl is dead, I just wish they could at least find her remains that way it can kind of put an ease on her parents to at least know something.

I am shocked there is not more activity going on in this thread. That’s all we can talk about.

Anyway – for those of you who are following this story….The father of one of the detainees has now been arrested!!!

Joran probably took Natalee back to his house…in which at 17 had his own apartment behind his parents house….he gave her too much date rape drug, she died, and he ran to daddy for help. Daddy took the body and dumped her to the sharks.

Did I fail to mention he is a political official??? They keep saying he was a judge “in training” but that just recently came out. They are trying to segregate him from the country. They cant hurt the tourism!!

I’ve been watching the stories on TV, it looks like some sort of coverup was attempted and it blew up in their face. I dunno what really happened but the whole thing seems real fishy.

I know this sounds horrible, but I think she is shark bait.

I dont know how true it is, but I heard that her mom is sueing the Aruba Police Dept because they say its been 3 weeks and they still havent found out anything more than when they first started searching for her.

Well they must be finding out something…they just arrested one of their judges. They are just not sharing information. I watched an interview tonight with a representative from the police. She did confirm that they did have information that the dad was also involved in the disappearance. They asked “you mean cover up” but she said “no not cover up, directly involved.”

They are finding out information, but we Americans are used to our media. No other country in the world gives out so much info as we do. Thats just how they do business.

The mother is however hiring a PI, and there is a group of guys from Texas coming with dogs and sonar equipment to help in the search. This group was started by a man that had a child kidnapped and did not get the help from authorities. (They said she ran away, but was later found dead.) They have a 70% recovery rate. Maybe they will be able to search the hills and caves of Aruba.

I hope they find this girl soon. I feel for the parents of the girl, as well as for the mother of the van der sloot boy. She now has to deal with her son AND husband being rapist/murders.

dogs and sonar are good… but there is a new technology (well, not sure how new to the science world, but new in terms of civilians) called terrahertz or something like that, that can look through organic material for metalic objects or vice versa, that i think would be excellent for this unfortunate event

dogs
sonar
terrahertz
infra-red
night-vision
satellite imaging from above
heat detection devices
spy planes

(sounds like what the armed services have… )

What’s worse is when I read “shark bait”, all I could think of was the part in “Finding Nemo”. SHARK BAIT, OOH HA HA.

I agree. I don’t see why any parent would let their child run off to another country, my mom wouldn’t have let me. However, apparently she was a honors student, so perhaps they trusted her. Still, young kids make stupid decisions, especially under the influence, and that’s why people need to be more conscious of what they’re doing. I think she’s mostly to blame for her own fate-- if she’s as smart as the parents say she was, she should have known better. I’m not saying no one is to blame, but she really should have been watching her drink or whatever.

I would guess that the guys raped her, then killed her. Maybe not purposely, but if she hasn’t turned up, I’m sure she’s dead.

It’s sad, I hope they find her body as well so the parents get closure.

I read that they have kidnapped women and sold them into slavery as prostitutes in nearby countries. I’m afraid it has happend here but that there is so much publicity and the whole world is watching and that whoever they sold her too has killed her and has her body in storage off island somehwere. It’s a consperacy theory that is a long shot and I hope and pray is not true. Maybe she is alive but inprisoned. And I hope they find her. Plus I hope they find whoever did this and fuck them up big time.
