No point tagging me since I said it was Russia many times before.
My argument is that it could have been done by absolutely anyone anyway, and if your top chiefs are dumb enough to click on a phishing link (which we even teach kids in primary school today not to do) then quite frankly you don't deserve an administration. A 15 year old has already hacked FBI servers last year.
Then there's also the fact that many of the hacks were indisputably sourced from 4chan activists, including a Scotsman that was arrested a week ago for having a hate-filled youtube channel.
Not that it changes anything. The only thing that Russia has done is reveal dirt on Democrat politicians, activists and the cosy relationship between the media and the party amounting to nothing less than de facto state media.
If that is evil, then it must be puss-in-the-boots evil.
Not that I would want to live under a Russian or a Chinese axis, but, to date, their actions have been absolutely fine, and I would encourage them further. If a foreign 'autocratic' power is the only way that we in the West can achieve government transparency, then that says more about us than it says about them.
